KL KP is a label based in Barcelona and founded in 2012. Taking the inspiration from traditionally crafted and widely used Spanish artisan products, Anna Karell and Sonja Kappl have re-worked the original mediterranean multi-purpose straw basket used down the ages, to produce a contemporary version using top quality and locally sourced materials, and put “Made in Spain” back on the map. The LONA, LATÓN, VAQUETILLA collection is the result of the quest to blend tradition and modernity in a range of practical and resistant holdalls, made of rugged cotton canvas and featuring natural tanned leather straps and brass detailing.The KL KP brand stands for simplicity and functionality. The products are made to last and will age gently without losing the inherent beauty of the materials.
