Son Mai | Bamboo Tableware

Son Mai Natural Design was born out their love for Vietnamese handicraft and a wish of making the world a better place. It was established in Singapore in 2009 and moved to Norway in 2011. In good hands is their slogan, in which you also find their simple business philosophy. With these words Son Mai trries to highlight the fact that their products are made by hand – by good hands with a lot of experience. They emphasize that their products are friendly to the environment and of high quality. Son Mai cooperates with professional artists and designers both in Norway and other countries, in order to create unique, beautiful and sensible products. The Bamboo Gunilla collection is made by Gunilla Holm Platou, known for her refined sense of colour and ability to leave her audience feeling good. She mixes her art with her sense of humour as she has been doing with great success with her whimsical watercolour series featuring cows (COW = KU in Norwegian). No Microwave, No Dishwasher.
