Mingardo | Italian Minimalistic Design
Designed by Antigone Acconci & Riccardo Bastiani. Growing up, Daniele Mingardo (Italy), never saw anything else than his father's iron workshop and became as passionate as his father about the moudable character of iron and the concreteness that remains once it finished. This mix of a young, eager generation with the experience of skilled hands by a long tradition, infused with strong values like craftsmanship, passion and genuine know-how creates a wonderful story of interior accessories and furniture. Some creations are individual, others came about by collaborating with other designer, but every single piece is charged with a dream, the dream to be unique, to stand out. This results in pieces made of fused, cut and folded iron that carry the lovely fingerprint of hand-made.
Designer│Faber is the collection of design in limited and numbered edition, edited by the young editor Daniel Mingardo and presented during the Milan Design Week. Designer│Faber consists of very nice objects and accessories in metal made by hand.
