Ilaria Innocenti (1983) lives in Milan where she works as a product and interior designer who develops projects for private clients and businesses. In 2010 she participated for the first time at the Fuorisalone with a collection of handmade carpets using the traditional technique of Sardinia. From there she began her research work on a decorative language that combines freehand drawing, textures and suggestions in forming the plot of her story. Today she collaborates as a designer with various Italian and foreign companies in the area of furniture design. Since 2013 she is the art director of Karpeta, a company specialized in the production of handmade carpets. Her products are exhibited in several major atelier such as Mint in London and La Rinascente in Milan.
