Studio Allossa is the physical extension of the creative mind of Saartje Allosserie, an industrial product designer from Kortrijk, Belgium. After seven years of working in the lighting industry and
specializing in the soft-textile luggage sector afterwards, she decided in 2011 to take her first steps as an independent designer and founded her own design studio. And so Studio Allossa came about, a collection of products made by reusing materials and durable designs. Recycling and upcycling are key values and ecology and sustainability are very important. Saartje believes in social entrepreneurship and has worked with sheltered workshops and workplaces for people with occupational disabilities for her manufacturing and/or assembly. Studio Allossa stands for design with a twist but also for reuse, sustainability and community involvement.
