Awesome Hanging Tents
It all started in London in 2010 when treehouse architect and Tentsile inventor Alex Shirley-Smith had a vision: to allow people to experience the magic of hanging out in trees. That way, people might think twice about cutting them down. He conceived Tentsile as a portable suspended treehouse that you can take with you anywhere and began designing and prototyping habitable tensioned structures.
In 2012 Alex teamed up with product designer and co-inventor Kirk Kirchev who brings in the idea of creating a simpler, lighter and leaner model that could be mass produced and become more affordable. That's the start of a beautiful collection of truly portable tree houses.
