Under the name Urform Florian Haller continues a family tradition. The 41-year-old Hamburger comes from a family of watchmakers from the Black Forest who had founded the traditional company Urgos in 1920. Urform’s watch production is reminiscent of his great-grandfather, his company Urgos and Bad Urach, Haller’s home town. He picked the thread back up and makes contemporary clocks from poured concrete. He thinks of his clocks as applied art with a particular attention for detail. All concrete watches have been made by hand. In keeping with the manufacturing tradition Haller understands the importance of detail and the excellent quality of the used watch components. His technical training as a carpenter apprentice and his professional experience in concrete furniture paired with a keen sense for timeless design reveal themselves in his concrete wall clock collection.
