After graduating from L’Atelier Chardon Savard (Paris, 2008), Sandra joined the brand SU 75 Paris (leather jackets brand), as the women collection designer where she also had a role in production, marketing and sales. She challenged herself to land in Seoul and sell out two jackets from SU75 PARIS and had a frank success. This is how she started roundtrip travels between Paris and Seoul and became a sales agent for several French brands in South Korea. At just 25 years old, she finally decided to leave France in October 2010 and settle down in the heart of the Korean capital city. Until March 2012, she worked for the Korean denim brand Placjeans as an overseas marketer, where she acquired the knowledge about how Korean companies are working. She took part in the Reality TV Show « Top Designer » a fashion contest tailored to Korean designers. With this enriching experience, she became the International Marketing manager at the Korean designer brand : Cres & Dim. She simultaneously developed her own label and after some evolution S M K was rebranded in August 2014. As a upper priority, sustainable development has naturally built up the rebirth of the brand identity. Constantly seeking for sustainable materials or solutions, S M K attempts to use less harmful components for her collections balancing with the seasons possibilities , respecting market leading trends and meeting the clients’ expectations.
