Henning Christensen founded this Danish family business HC Tæpper in 1999. At that time, he had ten years of experience as a salesman in the furniture industry and got the opportunity to take over the carpet company Wilton that once started with a small range of carpets. With Christensen in charge, the range expanded substantially. In 2001, Christensen travelled himself to India to discover how carpets were made. With this knowledge, he had the tools to create a great scale of modern carpets. And also the new generation of the family has joined the family business. Lasse, Henning’s son, became part of the company and helps to extend the German and Scandinavian market.
