Liljebergs

Liljebergs is a collection of images based on Göran Liljeberg’s photos of insects. Behind the images are a great passion for butterflies and other insects and many years of dedication to photography. Many of the photos have been used as illustrations in a variety of books but are now mainly used as art in home and public decor. The insects that are used are mostly borrowed from the Swedish Museum of Natural History in Stockholm, from his entomology friends who are collectors and some of the insects are from his own collection. Göran photographs and prints everything in his own studio, from high-end 11-color inkjet printers. The images are printed on a matte 200 gram quality paper with pigment inks of the highest quality with a very long life span. This is not Offset printing and mass production, Göran prints with a more complex technique that gets a more exclusive and detailed result.
