Designer Brent Jelley came up with the idea because he wanted to be able to take pictures without having to carry around a selfie stick - which he says are no longer "cool". SelfieFeet instead allows users to take more natural pictures of themselves and with their friends, as sticks are often held up in awkward positions. The 52-year-old, of Bridgwater, Somerset, said: "The device is really simple to use. You just have to strap it to your foot and pose.”
