Delica

Daily Objects for The Home

Delica began in Bera (Navarre) in 2005, as a design company producing products for the contemporary home. The project began with the Delica tray line, designed by Zoocreative, which was recognized with the Delta de Oro at the Delta ADI FAD Awards 2005, the Design Plus Award (Frankfurt Trade Fair 2006) and the Red Dot Design Award 2007, and continues with the Ameba collection and the Lorea fruit basket, also from Zoocreative. Delica has no intention of changing the world, rather to try and understand it. With the right combination of knowledge and intuition, it proposes objects that express reality, with an attentive eye on contemporary homes. We are currently undergoing rapid socio-cultural changes, a reflection of the world globalization phenomena that we are experiencing - which Delica understands to be positive - that compel us to take another look at objects. The human component is the basis upon which Delica designs the pieces in its collection, original pieces that are capable of standing out, while conveying novelty and poetry, starting with the principle of usefulness and practicality as daily objects for the home.
