Huckduck

Stunning handmade lighting

Dennis Murphy graduated from Cooper Union School of Architecture (NYC) in 2009, where he discovered his love for interior design, mid-century furniture, tenement couture and the charm of a carefully coordinated industrial palate. After living in a Brooklyn apartment without a single light socket, he started designing his own lighting fixtures based on the architecture surrounding him. In 2011, he teamed up with Christopher Garis to launch Huckduck. A lighting and design company that sells stunning lighting fixtures and provides interior design services. Each lamp is unique and handmade of the highest craftsmanship in the Lower East Side. The design style of Huckduck can be described as vintage-industrial, to deliver that distinctive nostalgic feel beautifully combined with contemporary neatness both in- and outdoors.
