In 2007, Moose Allain created his own company: World of Moose. The artist worked in London for many years, as an architect specialising in urban regeneration. The year before, he moved to the coast in order to concentrate on his art and to bring up his young family by the sea. When Moose is drawing, he loses himself in an imaginary world. The drawings often start with ink splashes or marks on the paper, not completely random as he chooses colour, and intensity of distribution, but chance plays a large part. He usually begins at the bottom and works his way up. That way, Moose doesn't have any idea what's going to appear on the page. "It has the same thrill of walking the streets of an unfamiliar city, never knowing what you are going to find round the next corner", he says.
