In 1997, CEO Johan Graffner founded the parent company Blammo International AB. The Swedish business imported streetwear accessories from the USA and China, for distribution throughout Europe. In 2005, the Cheapo label was launched with shoes packed in pizza boxes. Cheapo was an instant hit and the shoe business exploded with the 'Ninja Boot' collection. With this, distribution grew to cover all of Europe. Today, Cheapo Accessories focus on watches, sunglasses and colourful socks. Their target market are early adopters and early majority men and women aged between 15 and 30. They develop on-trend accessories that offer the highest value for money.
