Ragnheiður Ösp | Oversized Knots
Ragnheiður Ösp grew up in a small town by the ocean in the southwest of Iceland. She come from a family of musicians. At the age of five she started her music career playing the recorder and later the piano and violin. Quickly she discovered that her unique love for objects was stronger and started to create products that would hopefully affect other people in the same way her collections affected her.
While all her pieces have a playful, tactile and handmade quality, in her most recent notknot design she caught the eyes of the international design community.
