Senz

In the fall of 2004, Gerwin Hoogendoorn, a Industrial Design Engineering student, experienced a week in which three of his umbrellas broke down. The young Dutchman was fed up and decided to devote his graduation project to designing the ultimate umbrella. At that time, Gerwin contacted some of Europe's largest umbrella brands. They all turned him down, as they didn't believe that the ever existing design of the umbrella could be improved. In 2005, Gerwin rented a tiny office space and started the company Senz°. After the market introduction, the product was featured on TV, radio, magazines, newspapers and blogs all over the world. The Senz° umbrella has received prestigious awards such as the red dot design award, the iF gold design award and the IDEA gold award. Basically this fantastic umbrella won all major design awards in the world.
