SOLID | Handgefertigte Kantha-Plaids und Bettdecken

Im Jahr 2000 gründete Luc Verelst die belgische Non-Profit-Organisation SOLID, die ein paar Jahre später von seiner Tochter Lyn übernommen wurde. Seit der Jahrtausendwende hat die Organisation Partnerschaften mit lokalen Handwerkern in Peru, Indien und Kenia aufgebaut. Gemeinsam mit diesen Kunsthandwerkern arbeitet SOLID an einer besseren Zukunft für das sozioökonomische Umfeld dieser Länder. So schafft die Organisation Arbeitsplätze mit sicheren Arbeitsbedingungen und einer fairen Bezahlung für benachteiligte Frauen. Diese sehr talentierten Frauen stellen die einzigartigsten Lifestyle-Accessoires her, wie z.B. Alpaka-Plaids, bunte Teppiche, Patchwork-Laken, trendige Kissen und geflochtene Körbe. Mit den Produkten von SOLID wirst du Teil der Nachhaltigkeitsstory und unterstützt eine gute Sache.
