Antoine Phelouzat by Eno | Quake Shelves

Antoine Phelouzat is a Paris based designer. Graduating from the University for Creative Arts in England, Antoine Phelouzat obtains a Bachelors of Arts in Interior Architecture in 1997 and a Master of Arts in product design in 2001. After working for major brands such as Karen Millen and Diesel and designers Tom Dixon and Michael Young he started his own creative studio in 2005. Antwoine likes to see himself as an intermediary between makers and users. He loves being in contact with materials and those who work them. An object must be a vector of values, of knowledge. It must challenge, arouse curiosity. A product becomes interesting when it offers different layers of understanding. Antoine Phelouzat has worked together with ENO for the creation of his Quake Shelves. ENO (Editor of New Objects) is a new-coming French editor of objects signed by the most gifted current designers. Their philosophy is to create simple, beautiful, useful and curious objects to enchant our daily lives.
